After awarding diplomas to young doctors, nurses and technicians, Vucic said that at today's session of the Serbian government, which he attended at the request of Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, there was talk about this and that he expressed his position that nonetheless we must not break relations with everyone in the world.
Thanks to Hungary, Spain, Cyprus, Romania, Azerbaijan, Georgia, people who supported public international law and the United Nations Charter. We must not forget what they have done for us and we must always know that these countries are more important to us than all the others, the President underlined.
According to him, acts related to the security strategy, as well as the foreign policy strategy, will be adopted accordingly.
We will work to ensure that in foreign policy we take care of bilateral relations and do not go beyond the limits of reciprocity - if someone does not respect our territorial integrity, why should we respect theirs at any cost. These are not tectonic, but profound and fundamental changes in politics and a responsible attitude towards our country, he explained.
Vucic pointed out that being abstained at yesterday's vote in Strasbourg in the Council of Europe was the same as voting for the membership of so-called Kosovo in this organisation.
He underlined that Serbia has never been abstained regarding the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Representatives of Ukraine asked for a break in their work to hold consultation and then they made a decision to be abstained.
