Prime Minister Ana Brnabic wished happy 23 April – the Serbian Army Day to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Milos Vucevic, Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army General Milan Mojsilovic and all members of the Serbian Army.
"I wish a happy 23 April – Serbian Army Day. The army marks its day in memory and glory of the Second Serbian Uprising, and today it inherits the glorious tradition of its ancestors who fought for the freedom and honour of Serbia and our people.
Today, our army is the pride of our Serbia. You are above all a factor of stability and peace in the country and the entire region. We are proud of your strength, work and sacrifice for our country. You are always there when it is necessary to help our citizens in emergency situations.
We are also proud of the contribution you make to peacekeeping by participating in multinational operations. That is why we will continue to invest in the development and equipment of our army and in the constant improvement of the material status of the members of the army.
I wish you a happy Serbian Army Day and I am sure that in the future all of you will be the pride and strength of Serbia," reads the Prime Minister's letter of greetings.
