Brnabic, who is on a two-day visit to Dublin, told reporters that this is finally the end of a charade that we have been watching during many previous years, adding that in these elections, which will be held on Sunday, 23 April, less than two percent of the population will take part.
The Prime Minister emphasised that this is happening a few days after ten years have passed since the signing of the Brussels Agreement, as the first agreement on the normalisation of relations, from which Pristina did not fulfil a single word.
With its signature, the EU guaranteed the fulfilment of the points of the Brussels Agreement, and since the beginning of last year, Pristina has been directly violating and denying the basic rights of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, about which the international community and the EU, as a guarantor, are silent, said the Prime Minister.
She reiterated the appeal of the President of Serbia for the Serbs in the province to remain calm, to show the hypocrisy of Pristina in full light and to which point the quasi-democracy that the EU and the USA are justifying has arrived.
The Prime Minister explained that every time they say that the Community of Serb Municipalities should be formed in accordance with so-called Kosovo constitution, it is not the Community of Serb Municipalities that is guaranteed under the Brussels Agreement, but another organisation that the international community wants to create with Pristina.
The Community of Serb Municipalities was agreed by the Brussels Agreement in 2013 and further acts, including the 2015 agreement, which prescribes the competencies of the Community. They will not form it. If they wanted to, the Community of Serb Municipalities would have been formed ten years ago, Brnabic emphasised.
She stated that Serbia is always in favour of dialogue because it must preserve peace and stability, as well as that it is necessary to persevere in dialogue no matter how difficult it may be, and she expressed her gratitude to the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija for enduring all the difficulties.
