"Life is a Miracle" premiers in Cannes on May 14

The International Film Festival begins tomorrow in Cannes, where the new movie of director Emir Kusturica "Life is a Miracle", produced by his company Rasta Internacional, will be presented as part of the competition programme.

The festival will last from May 12 to 23 and will present 18 movies. President of the festival jury will be Quentin Tarantino.
The world premiere of "Life is a Miracle" is scheduled for May 14. The Belgrade audience had an opportunity to see two scenes from the movie on the closing night of the Fest film festival.
The film was made on Mount Zlatibor in past two years under the working title of "Hungry Heart", after a screenplay by Ranko Bozic and Kusturica. The story is placed at the beginning of the 1990s, at the time of war in Bosnia.
