Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with Congressman of the United States of America (USA) Eric Swalwell about bilateral relations, business and economic cooperation and strengthening efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.
Brnabic stated that the USA is one of Serbia's most important economic partners, and that economic cooperation is intensively developing in various fields.
According to her, the USA is currently Serbia's largest partner in the export of services, there is an increasing influx of investments from American companies, there is significant financial support through various development aid programmes, while American companies are also involved in the implementation of capital infrastructure projects.
Congressman Swalwell expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister of Serbia for the constructive conversation, Serbia's activities in developing regional cooperation, as well as the way in which Belgrade leads the process of normalising relations with Pristina.
In conclusion, Swalwell said that after this visit, he will return to the Congress with the message that Serbia is an economically strong and stable country, with growing economic potential and a good investment climate.
