Seminar for religion teachers opens

Serbian Minister of Religion Milan Radulovic officially opened today a seminar for religion teachers and said that the gathering will be a success if essential theological issues are discussed at the seminar, as well as issues concerning the methodology of teaching religion.
Radulovic pointed out that Serbia will be one of the states where teaching confessional religion, which is the most suitable concept, is applied because Serbia is primarily a multi-religious country.
The seminar is organised by the Ministry of Religion, Ministry of Education and Sport and the Serbian government committee for religious teaching in elementary and secondary schools. The seminar aims to improve the quality of religious teaching in schools.
Around 2,000 participants have come to the seminar and 15 most renowned lecturers, theologians and religion teachers will hold lectures at the seminar.
