In a televised appearance on Television Pink, Brnabic cited the example of Cyprus and Kosovo and Metohija, which are treated in different ways by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
That Ministry stated that the "two Germany" solution is not an option for Cyprus, but the issue can only be resolved through the UN - with respect for the relevant resolutions. Therefore, "two states" is not an option for Cyprus, but when it comes to Serbia, it is probably the only option, and not the compliance with UN resolutions, she underlined.
Ahead of the visit of State Department Adviser Derek Chollet to Belgrade, she said that she has neither good nor bad expectations, but that she only expects the US to fulfil its promise to form the Community of Serbian Municipalities in Kosovo and Metohija.
The Prime Minister recalled that during her recent visit to the United Arab Emirates, she also met with the president of Interpol, from whom she received information that the membership of the so-called Kosovo in this organisation will not be on the agenda during his mandate.
Brnabic conveyed her satisfaction with the results of the visit to the UAE, as well as the level of cooperation between the two countries, in which President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic had the greatest contribution.
