Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated today, at the beginning of a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates, that the relations of this Middle Eastern country and Serbia are at the historically highest level.
In a statement for the Tanjug agency, Brnabic said that she met with Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the UAE Mohammed Al Gargawi, with whom she discussed how much progress has been made in the implementation of the agreements signed between the two governments and what the next steps are.
She explained that all agreements mainly concern innovation and digitalisation in the provision of public services and how to best support the economic sector.
We want other countries to recognise Serbia and the UAE as countries of innovation, stated the Prime Minister and added that more than ten agreements signed show how important the previous year was for the relationship between Serbia and the UAE.
According to her, this visit is a continuation of the visit from May last year and the agreement signed between the two governments in the field of modernisation of services provided by the government to citizens and the economy.
