eGovernment services available to Serbian citizens across the world from February

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Minister of Information and Telecommunications Mihailo Jovanovic signed today the Protocol on Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications.

At the same time, the Protocol on cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office for IT and eGovernment was signed by Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Suzana Boskovic-Prodanovic and Acting Director of the Office for IT and eGovernment Milan Latinovic.

Thanks to the protocols signed, the diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Serbia around the world will become the registration body of the Office for IT and eGovernment so that all our citizens in the diaspora who have a valid biometric document (identity card or passport) can become eCitizens in the diplomatic and consular missions.

With just one visit to the nearest diplomatic and consular representation offices, the parameters for activating the ConsentID mobile application can be obtained completely free of charge, thus enabling access to all eGovernment services.

The diplomatic and consular missions will start issuing parameters for electronic identification on 1 February 2023.
