When it comes to European integration, Prime Minister Brnabic emphasised that Serbia extremely appreciates the position of Slovenia, which advocates the EU's expansion agenda, primarily to the Western Balkans region, and thanked for the continuous support that this country provides to Serbia on its European path.
As the Prime Minister pointed out, Serbia will continue reforms in the area of the rule of law, which are important for our country and citizens and further economic development.
Speaking about economic cooperation, Brnabic assessed that Slovenia is a significant investor on the Serbian market, adding that companies from this country employ a large number of people in Serbia, and emphasised that she expects that number to continue to grow in the future.
The head of Slovenian diplomacy pointed out that the growth of investments has been positively evaluated and that Slovenia is trying to attract more Serbian companies to its market.
She stated that Slovenia is also interested in the re-establishment of railway traffic, which would greatly facilitate the cooperation between the two countries.
When it comes to the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, Fajon stated that Slovenia agrees with the necessity of the full implementation of the Brussels Agreement and supports the continuation of the dialogue under the auspices of the European Union.
