Brnabic noted that this year marks the 85th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and she expressed her gratitude for Iran's principled stance when it comes to Serbia's territorial integrity.
The Prime Minister underlined that such a position represents support for the basic principles of international law, saying that it is in Serbia's interest to develop cooperation with Iran in areas where there are real opportunities for this, for example, in the field of agriculture.
The head of Iranian diplomacy highlighted the importance of the relationship between the two countries, stressing the active cooperation of the ambassadors in both countries.
The meeting in the Serbian government was attended by Serbian Ambassador to Iran Dragan Todorovic and Ambassador of Iran to Serbia, Rashid Hassan Pour Baei.
