Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Turkish parliament Cagatay Kilic about the strengthening of political and economic ties between the two countries.
On that occasion, the Prime Minister expressed her condolences and sorrow for the recent terrorist attack in Istanbul, stating that relations between Serbia and Turkey are at the highest level.
Brnabic pointed out that the overall cooperation is getting better, primarily thanks to the good and friendly relations between the presidents of the two countries.
According to her, Turkey is a very important economic partner of Serbia and the two countries have marked common economic interests.
She welcomed significant Turkish investments, especially those that helped the progress of less developed parts of Serbia.
The interlocutors assessed that the overall inter-parliamentary cooperation in the previous period was very good and constructive and expressed their belief that it will be further improved in the future.
