At the OIF Ministerial Conference, Dacic pointed out that our goal is to acquire the status of a full member of the International Organisation of Francophone Countries, and added that Serbia respects and cherishes the linguistic, cultural and political values of the IOF and supports its commitment to peace, democracy and human rights, as well as commitment to respecting the constitutional order and the rule of law.
According to him, we are especially committed to calling for the peaceful resolution of all crises and conflicts in the Francophone world, in accordance with the principles of the Charter of the UN.
In this regard, we have a special sensibility, because of all our struggles, the most challenging is the one aimed at preserving our sovereignty and territorial integrity, that is, solving the issue of Kosovo and Metohija. While fighting for the preservation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, Serbia is simultaneously defending the universal principles of international law, Dacic said.
In the end, he pointed out that Serbia is a country where Francophonie symbolises - equality, complementarity and solidarity (égalité, complémentarité, solidarité), which is also the motto of this respected organisation.
