“The passing of Archbishop Chrysostomos II is a great loss for the Orthodox and the entire Christian world, in which he spread the spirit of tolerance, peace and cooperation. A great friend of Serbia, who cherished the traditionally friendly and brotherly ties of the two peoples and their churches, is also gone.”
His pastoral mission will remain an inspiration to continue to develop friendly relations of Serbia and Cyprus and our peoples”, reads the letter of condolences of the First Deputy Prime Minister.
