Strong strategic partnership between Serbia, People's Republic of China

The Prime Minister assessed that the two countries have a strong strategic partnership and steel friendship, which is at the highest level in their history, and emphasised that Serbia and the new government remain on that path.
She emphasised that Serbia is very active in the China-CEEC cooperation mechanism, which since its establishment has grown into a format of comprehensive cooperation, not only between Serbia and the People's Republic of China, but also with all the countries of the CEEC region, and that it is at the top of the list of countries with the greatest number of implemented projects.
Also, the Prime Minister expressed her satisfaction that Belgrade will host the 8th China-CEEC Think Tank Symposium on 16 November 2022.
Yiang Yu confirmed the importance of relations between Serbia and China, as well as the readiness for further all-round strengthening of the strategic partnership and friendship between our two peoples.
She expressed satisfaction with the upward trend in economic relations between the two countries and emphasised the potential for their further enrichment in various fields.
The Ambassador emphasised that it is important that Serbia, through its participation in the "Belt and Road" initiative, has become one of the links of the China-Europe Express Transport Corridor, which is supported by the trilateral project of modernisation of the Belgrade-Budapest railway.
The Prime Minister once again thanked the People's Republic of China for its principled position regarding the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.
