The ministers signed the Framework Protocol on financial and technical cooperation in the field of infrastructure projects.
Mali pointed out that the meeting also looked at a whole series of projects related to environmental protection, the Green Agenda, as well as road and railway infrastructure, i.e., projects foreseen under the Serbia 2025 programme.
The Deputy Prime Minister recalled that the state has shown commitment to infrastructure projects, stating that we are currently building ten new highways, a high-speed railway from Novi Sad to Subotica, health centres, wastewater treatment plants and more.
This year, we will have more than €1 billion worth of foreign trade exchange, Mali announced and assessed that the protocol signed will further improve the cooperation between the two countries.
The Spanish minister assessed that there is a lot of room for improving cooperation in rail transport, energy and renewable energy sources, pointing out that the two countries are entering a new stage of strengthening economic relations.
