The Ministry of Mining and Energy, in cooperation with USAID, will implement promotional activities through the "Better Energy" project in order to raise public awareness of recommendations for saving electricity and heat, the Deputy Prime Minister said.
In addition, we will participate in the regional project "Investments in Energy", which will help prepare new projects for financing, which are important for the energy transition process, such as the use of RES in the future.
The five-year project "Investments in Energy" is worth $20 million and aims to help countries in the region to identify and further develop energy projects.
US Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill reiterated that the project will be worked in partnership with the Government of Serbia, specifically with the Ministry of Mining and Energy, with whom there has been successful cooperation on important projects.
He expressed the expectation that Serbia will play a key role in this program, which will also help the countries of the Western Balkans to ensure energy security in the future.
