"Today, Serbia celebrates the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag, in memory of the breakthrough of the Thessaloniki Front.
We are proud of our ancestors and history, proud of our flag, which for us is not just a piece of colored fabric, but a tricolor thread that binds our fellow citizens from the past, present and future into an inextricable community. Under it, a sovereign Serbia was established, and the most sacred freedoms of its citizens.
This holiday is a symbol of our desire for harmony and togetherness of all who live in our country, but also those who have Serbia in their hearts and souls, but are miles away.
I wish all citizens of the Republic of Serbia, Republika Srpska and all Serbs around the world a happy Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag," Brnabic said.
