Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with founder of one of the world's leading e-Health companies CompuGroup Medical (CGM), Frank Gotthardt, who is one of the most influential figures in the world of the IT industry in Europe.
Brnabic pointed out that the Serbian government has recognised investment in digitisation and innovation as one of its priorities, thanks to which Serbia occupies an increasingly important position in this area.
Citing the example of the e-prescription system, which is already widely used, the Prime Minister pointed out that the goal is to introduce other digital systems that will save time and costs, and allow doctors and medical workers to devote more time to treating patients.
She stated that by investing in the IT sector, innovation and development of science and technology parks, and above all in the education system, Serbia has managed to build an eco-system, which it plans to upgrade in the coming years.
Considering the experience and vast knowledge that CompuGroup Medical possesses in the field of providing e-Health solutions using artificial intelligence, Brnabic assessed that cooperation with such a company would be a privilege and very useful for continuing work on further reform of the Serbian health system.
Gotthardt congratulated the Prime Minister on her personal efforts in this area, and welcomed the vision of transforming Serbia into an efficient and modern country whose economy will be based on innovation.
