Prime Minister Ana Brnabic attended today the awarding of the Wine Trophy of the Open Balkans as part of the First International Wine Fair "Wine Vision of the Open Balkans", in Hall 1 of the Belgrade Fair.
In her address to the audience, Brnabic pointed out that everyone who participated in any way at this wine fair helped solidify a brilliant political idea.
The best emotion that was felt among the countries of the Western Balkans was the one that was sensed in the previous three days of the fair, said Brnabic and expressed her hope that this fair will become traditional.
During the Fair, the wines were judged by a jury of 25 international judges, five of whom have the Master of Wine title.
The competition was organised in the categories of white, red, rose, sparkling, sweet, orange and fortified wines, and special trophies were awarded to wines made from autochthonous varieties from the Balkans.
Almost 400 exhibitors and wine producers from more than 20 countries participated in the fair, primarily from Serbia and the countries of the region, but also from the whole world, South and North America and Central Europe.
