Brnabic pointed out that companies from the UAE are interested in investing in our country and want close cooperation, and announced the launch of a large number of projects with companies from that country in the field of digitisation and innovation, which represents a significant potential for cooperation.
The Prime Minister underlined that the exchange of knowledge and experiences between Serbia and the UAE is of great importance for the positioning of our country in the fields of research, science, education and innovation.
She pointed out that projects in the field of competitiveness implemented in the UAE, which had the best effect, could also be implemented in Serbia.
Brnabic also recalled that in Dubai in May of this year the Memorandum on the exchange of experiences on the development and modernisation of the government was signed, pointing out that this document improves the exchange of knowledge and experiences in nine areas, among which are artificial intelligence, creative industry, digital economy, eGovernment and science.
The Prime Minister called on her interlocutors to attend the Biotech Future Forum, which will be organised by the WEF Centre for the 4th Industrial Revolution and will be held in Belgrade on 20 October this year.
According to her, cooperation in the field of innovation and new technologies represents the future to which Serbia strives.
She emphasised that relations between Serbia and the UAE are at an enviable level, but that there is always room for further improvement and strengthening of cooperation, with the assessment that both sides are ready to engage in that direction.
Lootah praised the progress that Serbia has made in the field of science, assessing that our country has positioned itself well in that field.
He pointed out that the UAE can offer Serbia significant projects that have given excellent results in the Emirates, while he reiterated that our country is a leader in terms of science, innovation and digitisation, which is an area in which the two countries will improve cooperation.
The UAE delegation also had meetings at which they were introduced to the BioSense Institute, the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and the BIO4 campus.
Further visits to IT companies Nordeus, 3lateral, Anari AI and Iervolino Studio are planned.
