Prime Minister Ana Brnabic today sent a telegram of condolence on the occasion of death of His Excellency Mr. Shinzo Abe, former Prime Minister of Japan.
"I was very shaken by the news of the death of Shinzo Abe, who, with his serious and responsible approach to the political challenges of his time, left a special legacy on the global political scene.
Shinzo Abe made an immeasurable contribution to the development of relations between Serbia and Japan, which is why it was an honour to award him the Order of the Republic of Serbia on a ribbon, for outstanding services in developing and strengthening peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between our two countries.
On my own behalf and on behalf of the members of the government of the Republic of Serbia, I express my deepest condolences to the friendly people and the government of Japan," Brnabic said in the condolence telegram.
