Research centre of Faculty of Dentistry opened

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic opened today, on the 74^th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Dentistry in Belgrade, the Implant Research Centre with laboratories and an educational centre, unique in the Balkans.

At the ceremony, Brnabic said that investing in education is a guarantee of a successful future for the country and a guarantee that we will keep young people.

This shows a completely new face of our educational system and higher education and our new attitude towards culture, she added and explained that it is a modern building, which has the best conditions for work and training.

The Faculty of Dentistry is the third on the Shanghai list in its category, which is not known enough, the Prime Minister said, reminding that the new building of the Faculty of Organisational Sciences was recently opened.

We are now celebrating a similar, if not greater success – the opening of a new building and a research institution – a new laboratory where both scientific staff and students will create new value and provide new knowledge not only for Serbia but for the whole world.

We have plans for new buildings at the Faculty of Biology, the Faculty of Security and the Faculty of Music, announced Brnabic.

The idea of the centre originated ten years ago, and the construction and equipping of the facility with an area of 4,900 square meters cost around 600 million dinars, with the Faculty allocating 450 million from its own funds.

The most modern research projects will be carried out in the centre, and citizens will be able to get the most modern service for the installation of dental implants.

The educational centre is designed so that it will organize educational courses for dentists from all over the world.

Thanks to the new centre, which will start working on 1 October, classes will be improved, so students will have exercises on the most modern devices.
