Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met today with representatives of trade unions and FIAT workers.
In an open conversation, an agreement was reached that the representatives of the trade union and the workers harmonise the requests and proposals related to resolving the status of employees, and that they submit the harmonised proposal of all organisations to the government of Serbia as soon as possible.
The deadline for workers to decide on the currently offered options on the status of employees will be extended by an additional 10 days.
It was also agreed that a new meeting is held in the coming days to discuss these proposals and that government representatives will be required to participate in future talks between unions and workers with the company.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Darija Kisic and Ministers of Economy Andjelka Atanaskovic.
