Brnabic pointed to the very good bilateral relations and added that in such challenging times, it is of great importance to mark new investments or expand the existing ones, which were discussed at the meeting in the Serbian government.
In the conversation with Prime Minister Brnabic, CEO of Iwis Holding Luciano Mazzer underlined that Serbia has the best business climate in the region and announced a multi-million investment in Kanjiza and the opening of a new production plant at the end of the year.
This investment will enable the opening of new jobs.
Brnabic said that the Serbian government is ready to fully meet the needs of companies from Italy that already operate in our country, as well as of potential investors, and that the Serbian Development Agency and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce are at their disposal in providing the best conditions for doing business in this part of Europe.
Also, the Prime Minister emphasised that all the problems that the companies from Confindustria are facing will be solved along the way, and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce is the address they can turn to.
Representatives of Confindustria Serbia and Confindustria Italy told the Prime Minister that Serbia, regardless of the difficult times, is a reliable partner in providing secure and reliable business conditions, with mutual respect.
The Representative Office of the Confederation of Italian Industry in Serbia was founded in 2012 and today gathers 160 renowned Italian companies that do business in Serbia and is a very important factor in strengthening economic and social ties between the two countries.
Confindustria Serbia is very active in launching and supporting initiatives of economic cooperation and gives operational support to its members in achieving cooperation with Serbian business partners.
