Serbia has enough stocks in commodity reserves

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic confirmed today that the commodity reserves are full and that the citizens of Serbia and the economy should not worry, saying that after the investigation into fraud in the commodity reserves, all those responsible show that they committed abuses.

While visiting the works on the section of the road Prolom Banja-Begovica grob, in the Toplica district, Brnabic pointed out that the most important thing is that domestic needs are always met, that we are completely safe in that sense, which, as she assessed, is now the case.

She pointed out that producers and traders were asking for slightly higher quotas for exports, to allow the export of 350,000 tons of corn and wheat in a month, while the state allowed 150,000 tons.

At the same time, answering journalists' questions, the Prime Minister said that Freedom House's assessment was that our country has fallen behind the most during the last year, and Pristina has made most progress is shameful, because the number of attacks on Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija increased by 20% last year alone.

Brnabic reminded that Serbia, on the other hand, ended the public debate in 2021 and completed the process of amending the Constitution, which ensures full independence of the prosecution and the independence of the judiciary, and we had a successful referendum on 16 January.

She mentioned that on 16 January, Pristina banned Serbs from basic human rights – the right to vote in a referendum, and after that, on 3 April, to participate in elections.

Pristina does not want to negotiate. That is clear to Washington, Brussels, Paris, London, Berlin. We will see what he will do on that occasion. Nine years have passed since the Brussels agreement, we still do not have the JCC, and Pristina openly says that it will not implement the Brussels agreement and that it does not exist for them, Brnabic pointed out.
