Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met today with new Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Serbia Christopher Hill.
Brnabic welcomed Ambassador Hill and expressed hope that during his tenure, the already good relations between Serbia and the United States would be further improved.
Hill stated that this is not his first visit to our country, that the entire region is very well known to him and that it is clear that Serbia is progressing in the right direction.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the United States of America is an extremely important partner of Serbia, as well as that American companies employ a large number of our citizens and work on some capital projects, such as the Morava Corridor.
The Prime Minister and Ambassador Hill agreed that in the coming period they will work together to preserve peace and strengthen stability in the Western Balkans, bearing in mind that, according to them, this is a condition for all progress for Serbia and the entire Western Balkans region.
When it comes to the current situation between Belgrade and Pristina, Brnabic and Hill agree that dialogue is the only and best way to normalise relations between the two sides.
The Prime Minister pointed out that Serbia is committed to dialogue and is future-oriented.
