Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with John Anderson, Director of the White City Campus of the Imperial College London, about the construction and development of the BIO4 campus in Belgrade.
BIO4 campus is designed as a unique place of development in the field of biomedicine, bioinformatics, biotechnology and biodiversity. The campus will house seven scientific institutes and faculties, then part of the Belgrade Science and Technology Park, development departments of pharmaceutical, biomedical and biotechnology companies and more.
In a conversation with the Prime Minister, Andreson pointed out that he was impressed by the idea and vision for the development of this project, and especially emphasised the importance of leadership in the future development of the campus.
He also pointed out that the existing scientific institutions are a good starting point for this project.
Bearing in mind that the campus should unite the academic and scientific community and the economy, the need to develop a business and management model was also discussed.
The Prime Minister thanked Andreson for the visit, and pointed out the importance of exchanging experiences with international experts who can help and support this and similar projects.
