Speaking as a guest on Television Prva, Brnabic pointed out that our position is not easy, but we will defend it in principle.
"Serbia cannot be asked not to respect its own territorial integrity," she stressed and reiterated that Serbia respects Ukraine's territorial integrity just as it wants its territorial integrity to be respected.
She underlined that our country, in accordance with its vital interests, will not impose sanctions on Russia.
Serbia will represent before the UN Security Council the positions adopted at the session of the National Security Council, said the Prime Minister and warned that we are facing difficult days and difficult times, but that the most important thing for us is to work for peace, stability and security so as to make further progress.
We respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine, just as we want the integrity of Serbia to be respected, and in accordance with our vital interests, we will not impose sanctions on Russia. Also, we want to preserve our military neutrality, which is why we made the decision that members of the army and the Ministry of the Interior will suspend all planned activities with other countries until further notice, the Prime Minister underlined.
She stated that Serbia is preserving peace, stability and security.
For that reason, we will have even more understanding, patience, we will be more flexible, in relation to the reckless political statements in the Western Balkans region.
