In a statement to Tanjug news agency occasioned by a protest in the village of Laznica near Zagubica over the announced building of a gold mine at Homolje, Mihajlovic underlined that no one will do something against their own country and that the only thing that can be considered are technologies which are in line with European and world standards.
She stated that actors on the public scene must listen to each other more and talk about such topics and not be on the opposing sides because they have different political opinions. Mihajlovic noted that environmental topics are being used as political programmes in the pre-election campaign.
