Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated today that at this moment all problems in the supply of consumers with electricity have been remedied, but that, despite the stabilisation of the situation, the struggle continues.
Speaking on Pink Television, Brnabic said that a meeting will be held today in the Presidency of Serbia, at which President of the Republic Aleksandar Vucic and members of the government will discuss the crisis with the heads of the energy sector.
She pointed out that the state is doing its best to build all the blocks of thermal power plants, to get better quality coal and to continue with the delivery of electricity without restrictions.
Speaking of the responsibilities due to the interruption of the thermal power plant in Obrenovac, the Prime Minister emphasised that they will not be protected this time either.
She reminded that until 2012, nothing was invested in the energy sector for three decades, and that since then, investments have been made in the construction of the thermal power plant in Kostolac, the main gas pipeline has been built and the thermal power plant blocks have been repaired.
The Prime Minister said that all security services were working on the event in the thermal power plants, adding that she did not rule out the possibility of a sabotage.
