Brnabic reminded that on this day in 1921, the largest stud farm in Serbia was formed, which was reconstructed and upgraded in 2018, to the pride of all the inhabitants of Backa Palanka, but also the entire country.
In the years when we mark the 100th anniversary of its founding, we have committed ourselves to preserve this institution in order to continue to nurture the tradition of equestrian sports in our country, the Prime Minister stated.
She pointed out that Karadjordjevo preserves the rich tradition of our country and army, and at the same time it is a place of exceptional natural beauty and a nature park with a large number of protected species, to which the old splendour must return.
Brnabic reminded that the government made a conclusion according to which the Karadjordjevo stud farm became a state stud farm of special importance for the development of equestrian sports and tourist potentials of Serbia, and that it was a big step to become one of the tourist symbols of the whole country.
The stud farm is specific in that it has the oldest book of impressions, which was written in 1924 and which speaks a lot about the importance of the entire stud farm.
