Serbian Minister of Culture Dragan Kojadinovic pointed out that he is proud to see such a representative monograph published, adding that it is published at the most opportune moment, that is when the monastery has been declared part of the world cultural heritage.
Kojadinovic recalled that in the past 20 months, the Ministry of Culture has invested considerable means in preserving and protecting objects of cultural importance, especially in Kosovo-Metohija, and announced the beginning of works on pre-emptive protection of certain monuments threatened to be damaged by weather circumstances.
He stressed that projects such as this monograph will always find sponsors, and invited authors of similar works to come to the Ministry of Culture and have their works considered.
The monograph will be translated into English and other world languages.
