In a statement to the press, Brnabic pointed out that the Brussels agreement preserved peace, security and stability, because the situation was on the verge of conflict.
Pointing to the withdrawal of the ROSU Special Units, the Prime Minister recalled UN Security Council Resolution 1244, which stipulates that only KFOR units can be present at administrative crossings, and she also recalled what has been agreed under the Brussels Agreement, which is that the agreements reached must be implemented and the Community of Serb Municipalities formed.
Brnabic said that a session of the COVID-19 Crisis Response Team is scheduled for next week.
She underlined that she does not believe in restrictive measures as vaccination is the only way out of the epidemic. She explained that introducing such measures would give results that would be lost after some period of time, and then it would again be necessary to introduce measures, which would result in endless waves.
The mental health of the nation cannot withstand this circle indefinitely, the Prime Minister added and reiterated that for this reason, immunisation of the citizens of Serbia, including the booster, third dose, is the main strategy.
At this moment, the measures of wearing masks indoors, as well as outdoors where there is a large concentration of people, are currently in force in Serbia.
