In her address to the press after the meeting with US Under Secretary for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland, Brnabic pointed out that she talked to her about the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, and that the meeting was excellent, honest and open.
She said that Serbia enjoys great support of the US in the European integration process.
According to her, Nuland was interested in what Serbia expects from the Slovenian presidency of the EU until the end of this year, as well as what we expect from the talks with members of the European Parliament regarding the election conditions.
Nuland said that if Serbia continues with the reforms in the area of the rule of law, it will have strong US support in the conversation between the USA and the EU, the Prime Minister said.
Brnabic noted that she had good meetings late last night on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, as well as with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, whose support is extremely important to us for European integration.
She announced that today she will meet with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, after which she will speak at the general debate of the UN General Assembly.
