Brnabic wished all the students who started the new school year today a lot of success in a year that is challenging for everyone due to the coronavirus epidemic.
She stated that for the fifth year in a row, the state is renovating schools throughout Serbia, and that since 2016, 177 schools have been reconstructed, in which more than RSD 20 billion have been invested.
Ruzic stated that he is very proud because from today, the first class of the school year will begin with listening to the national anthem, estimating that respect for state symbols is the basis for respecting the country in which we live.
He pointed out that the schools received clear instructions and that it is very important that everyone adheres to the prescribed preventive measures and rules that are elaborated in detail, assessing that in those circumstances the risks in schools are reduced to a minimum.
Speaking about the goals of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, he announced that investments in infrastructure will continue at all levels of education and upbringing.
The First Deputy Prime Minister stated that almost RSD 900 million have been allocated this year, which is approximately €7.5 million for investments in primary and secondary education.
