Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated that the main topic of today's session of the COVID-19 Crisis Response Team will be the start of the school year.
In a statement to Television Prva, Brnabic said that representatives of the unions of educational workers are invited to the talks, as well as representatives of the Forum of Belgrade Grammar Schools and the Association of Paediatricians.
The proposal is to start the school year regularly, with the full number of classes, with obligatory masks, and we call on all educational workers to get vaccinated, the Prime Minister said.
She stated that it is extremely important that children start going to school regularly this year and underlined that we must learn to live with coronavirus.
The Prime Minister underlined that vaccines are available to everyone and that they are the main tool in the fight against the epidemic. She stated that almost 52 percent of the population in Serbia have received the shot.
That is not even closely enough, but is saving us. However, we must do it faster and better, Brnabic underlined.
