Prime Minister Ana Brnabic began a two-day visit to the Pcinja District in Bosilegrad today, where she visited the Bosilegrad municipal factory and the Health Centre.
Brnabic expressed her gratitude to the citizens of this municipality for the great response in the immunisation process, and emphasized that the government has ambitious plans for the south of Serbia.
The Prime Minister stated that Railway Corridor 10 will be worked together with partners from the European Union, emphasizing that it will be the largest infrastructure project not only in Serbia, but also in this part of Europe.
She explained that we will receive 600 to 700 million euros in non-refundable funds through the Investment Fund for the Western Balkans only for the section from Belgrade to Nis.
Brnabic announced a plan to complete the introduction of broadband internet in the whole of Serbia by 2025, and explained that it is a huge investment that is being made together with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
In addition, as she added, through the Ministry of Economy, we are investing in the complete infrastructural equipment of industrial zones, and at the same time, the government is fighting for every foreign investor.
The government of Serbia, as she emphasized, takes care of helping the areas where national minorities live, such as Bosilegrad, where approximately 99 percent of the population declare themselves as Bulgarians.
As part of her visit to the Pcinja District, the Prime Minister, together with First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Branko Ruzic, also visited the municipality of Vladicin Han.
On that occasion, Brnabić said that she would continue with the increase of salaries in the educational system and with the construction of additional preschool institutions, noting that we have a special project with the World Bank for this type of educational institutions.
Unemployment has been reduced from 30 to 13 percent, but the government, together with the municipality, will work to provide support to micro, small and medium enterprises, businessmen and entrepreneurs from Vladicin Han, she said.
