Positive trend of cooperation between Serbia, Qatar

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with Ambassador of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad Al Thani, who is ending his term in Serbia, about bilateral relations and further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.

The Prime Minister expressed the expectation that political bilateral relations, which were slowed down due to the epidemiological crisis, would be intensified, so that we could use all the opportunities for cooperation between our countries.

She thanked for the support and help in the medical equipment that this country sent to Serbia during the epidemiological crisis.

Ambassador Al Thani pointed out that during his mandate, agreements were signed in the field of economy, trade, economic cooperation, and that an agreement is expected to be signed in other areas, primarily education and tourism, which will enable stronger connections between our countries.

Also, Ambassador Al Thani conveyed the greetings of the Prime Minister of Qatar and again sent an invitation to Prime Minister Brnabic to visit this country.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that she would soon visit this friendly country, in order to continue the positive trend of cooperation, and thanked the Ambassador of Qatar for his personal commitment in building relations between our countries.
