New eService “My data for bank” presented

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Governor of the National Bank of Serbia Jorgovanka Tabakovic and Director of the Office for IT and eGovernment Mihailo Jovanovic attended today the presentation of the new eService "My data for bank".

Thanks to this service, which is available to users of the eGovernment portal, communication between citizens and banks is enabled on a "click", i.e., it is possible for citizens to forward their data from various state registers to the bank from which they want to receive an offer to conclude a banking product contract.

On this occasion, Brnabic stated that today the borders in the digitalisation of our society are being moved and enables citizens to communicate with the economy on a "click".

The "My data for bank" service is special because it is the first time that the electronic service itself has been developed together with the economy. Through joint work on the software solution by the Office for IT and eGovernment and banks, they learned from each other, but they also exchanged experiences, all in order to meet the needs of the citizens, Brnabic pointed out.

The Prime Minister added that she especially thanked the banks that participated in the pilot project and invited all other banks to join and introduce this possibility to their customers.

Jovanovic said that the electronic service "My data for bank" is a step further in the development of eGovernment because citizens and users of the eGovernment portal are able to forward their data to the bank from which they want to receive an offer to conclude a contract on a banking product.

The service can be started by eCitizen, i.e., those who register on the eGovernment portal with a qualified electronic certificate or via a mobile phone (two-factor authentication), stated Jovanovic.
