Brnabic pointed out that for Nis, which is on Corridor 10, it will be exceptional that probably at the end of September, together with the EU representatives in Merosina, we will start building a highway towards Prokuplje and Kursumlija, then towards Pristina, Tirana and Durres.
According to her, Nis will be completely different when the Moravian Corridor is completed, the connection of Corridors 10 and 11, as well as the "Highway of Peace", noting that the complete modernisation of the Nis-Dimitrovgrad railway and the gas pipeline to Bulgaria through Nis will start by the end of the first quarter of next year.
Here is also the biggest EU project that the President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vucic, agreed on in Brussels - a complete reconstruction of the railway Corridor 10 from Nis to the border with North Macedonia.
The Prime Minister recalled that we will receive non-refundable funds from the EU for this project, between €600 and €700 million, and the entire project is worth €1.8 billion.
During her visit to the Nisava District, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction that spa tourism in Serbia is finally waking up and explained that the upgrading of Niska Banja spa, the opening of the Kuliste project, as well as the completion of the old bathroom, which is a cultural monument, all contribute to that.
Spa tourism is finally waking up again, we have more and more spas. The competition among them is getting stronger, which will force us to compete, to take better care, to invest more and fight for as many tourists as possible, not only from Serbia, but from abroad too, she underlined.
