Speaking at a session of the Serbian parliament, at which the initiative for changing the Constitution of Serbia is discussed, Brnabic pointed out that since 2014, our country has traced a course that best defends sovereignty, protects and fights for the interests of citizens and our country's economy.
She noted that this is best seen in economic indicators, such as the single-digit unemployment rate, or the highest wages in the region.
According to her, from 2012 to 2021, pensions in our country have increased by 23 percent, and in the coming years, pensions will increase by five percent annually.
In that sense, the Prime Minister stated that Serbia is expected to overcome Bulgaria, which is a member state of the European Union, in terms of the average salary.
Serbia is moving towards the European Union as by far the best choice for us and keeps traditional partnerships with China, Russia, but also other countries, such as the USA, India, UAE, Turkey, Brazil, Argentina and others, Brnabic stated.
