Single legal framework on a national counter-terrorism database

At today's session, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Bill on the National Database for Prevention and Fight against Terrorism, which will establish a single legal framework based on comparative solutions and good European practice in this area.

The application of the law will clearly and precisely regulate the procedures for storing data in the database, its content, access to data, their use and protection, with special emphasis on compliance with international standards for the protection of human rights and freedoms.

The government decided to form a working group for the development and establishment of the electronic system eAgrar, which includes an electronic register of agricultural holdings in the territory of Serbia.

At today's session, the agreement between the governments of Serbia and Turkey on mutual recognition of the vaccination certificate against COVID-19 was confirmed.

From 14 May 2021, the citizens of the two countries will be able to enter the territory of another country without a test and the application of a quarantine measure if they have a vaccination certificate issued by the competent authorities of Serbia or Turkey.

Serbia and Turkey will also mutually recognise the certificates of immunity that will be issued by the competent authorities to those who have been cured of COVID-19.
