Prime Minister Ana Brnabic delivered today 14 keys to new tenants in the buildings built for members of security forces in the neighbourhood of Jugovicevo in Novi Sad.
In the presence of Minister of the Interior Aleksandar Vulin and Novi Sad Mayor Milos Vucevic, Brnabic said that all 2,000 flats that are planned to be built as part of the first phase of construction in Novi Sad have already been sold and that the second phase of construction of more flats in Novi Sad will start by the end of the summer.
She added that she is especially proud that domestic companies are employed at construction sites and that keys to the apartments in Kraljevo and Kragujevac for members of the security forces will be delivered by the end of May.
The Prime Minister underlined that it was high time the state did something so concrete, such as the construction of apartments for members of the security forces and thus show gratitude, but also what kind of state we are today – a serious state that takes care of its citizens.
The Prime Minister also added that a construction of a new COVID hospital will start in Novi Sad, together with an additional building of the Clinical Centre of Vojvodina and a building for a scientific research institute.
