Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with representatives of the Cinematography Group of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce - Section for Distribution and Presenters.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information Maja Gojkovic and representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the focus were the consequences and effects of the coronavirus pandemic on the business of distributors and presenters.
Representatives of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce pointed out that cinematography is one of the fastest growing branches in the last 10 years and that Serbia, from almost the last place in the region, has reached the position of the country with the most films and viewers, especially thanks to state aid and subsidies to this sector.
The Prime Minister underlined that talks with this industry will continue in order to find appropriate ways and modalities of support.
Brnabic and the line ministers will continue talks with representatives of other sectors that have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
