Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met today with representatives of musicians with whom she discussed the consequences and effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the music industry.
At the meeting, which was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information Maja Gojkovic and Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali, it was agreed to continue the talks as soon as possible and to find ways and modalities of state support to musicians.
The meeting is part of the consultations that the Prime Minister, ministers Gojkovic and Mali will have in the coming days with representatives of the industries most affected by the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Prime Minister informed the participants of the meeting that the government is obliged to take care of people's health, but at the same time about the ways of overcoming economic consequences and difficulties.
Brnabic, Gojkovic and Mali will meet with representatives of the restaurant and food service industry during the day, while meetings with representatives of the film and cinemas industry and with hairdressers' associations are planned for tomorrow.
