Big call for vaccination starts today

Brnabic, who attended the opening of a new plant of the company "Fertico" in Indjija, pointed out that vaccination is very important, but that the state cannot make it obligatory because there are categories of the population that cannot receive the vaccine.
The Prime Minister said that it is the civic duty of all of us who can receive the vaccine to do so because that protects those who cannot, noting that at this moment there is a significant interest in vaccination.
The Prime Minister expressed her hope that it will continue like that, announcing that a big campaign of calling for vaccination via television, newspapers and billboards starts today.
She called on everyone, especially the elderly, to get vaccinated, and added that the mass vaccination in Krusevac and Sremska Mitrovica, where those who have not applied for vaccination beforehand can come and get their shot, showed that it works very well.
There were more than 1,100 citizens in Krusevac, and 807 in Sremska Mitrovica, stated Brnabic and announced the opening of more mass vaccination sites.
The Prime Minister underlined that, as part of the measures against the spread of coronavirus, she will insist that all concerts be cancelled, noting that she was surprised that concerts are being organised in Belgrade at this difficult time because that is contrary to all rules and measures.
We will talk to the representatives of the City of Belgrade to see how it happened and we will insist that all concerts be cancelled and that the organisers be punished, she pointed out, assessing that that is not a theatre play or some cultural event.
Speaking about the worsening of the epidemiological situation, the Prime Minister said that vaccination helps that the situation does not get even worse, but that there will be almost certainly new measures for the weekend.
