Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today with Ambassador of Estonia Kristi Karelsohn about bilateral cooperation and further progress of economic relations between the two countries, especially in the field of IT technologies.
Brnabic underlined that, bearing in mind that Estonia is one of the world leaders in the IT sector, there is space for improvement of cooperation in that area and added that Serbia is making advances in the development of e-Government.
The two officials also spoke about the fight against the infectious disease COVID-19 and the progress in the immunisation of population.
The Prime Minister pointed out that Serbia is not giving up the fight against the coronavirus and that, if this pace of vaccination of population continues, one million citizens will be revaccinated soon.
At the same time, Serbia is trying to help other countries in the region as much as it can to procure vaccines.
Ambassador Karelsohn said that today is the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Estonia and that bilateral relations are developing in a good direction.
