During the video link, Stefanovic emphasised the commitment of the Ministry of Defence to qualitatively and quantitatively improve cooperation in the field of defence with Montenegro in mutual interest, both at the bilateral level and in regional formats of cooperation.
Serbia's foreign policy goal is membership in the European Union, and thus the priority of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Army is engagement within the Common Security and Defence Policy of the European Union, said Stefanovic.
During today's conversation, the ministers concluded that it is necessary to intensify cooperation in the field of defence, especially having in mind the traditional ties between Serbia and Montenegro, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
