Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke today on the morning programme of Euronews channel about Serbia’s success in the procurement of vaccines and the immunisation of the population.

Brnabic said that from the very beginning, Serbia was involved in all the process regarding the purchase of vaccines.
From the very beginning we took part in the World Health Organisation’s COVAX programme, however we realised on time that it would be smart to start bilateral talks with other countries that manufacture vaccines, she explained.
The Prime Minister pointed out that Serbia is among the first five countries that signed a contract with Pfizer, but also for Sputnik V and the Chinese vaccine.
Brnabic added that a fast reaction of the Serbian authorities was crucial and that all Serbian competent institutions worked on the authorisation of the use of vaccines.
